look at the effects of political sanctions in Iraq with an informative
profile of Kathy Kelly and the Voices in the Wilderness, filmed in Iraq
before the second Gulf War...held at the Reach Performing Arts Center, Deer
Isle

3. 3 speaker panel at the Deer Isle/Stonington High School to inform
students of issues of US foreign policy and Iraq war from three different
perspectives

INFORMATION HANDOUTS, BULLETINS AND RECRUITER INFORMATION
1. our information committee produced one page bulletins and a folding
phamphlet, we distributed them in the July 4th parade, weekly at the
farmer's market, at the post office and the galley (local market), left them
at several local restaurants and at the Fishermen's wives Fair at the

2. Nancy Hill received permission from the Superintendent of Schools to put
MILITARY RECRUITMENT MYTHS pamphlets in the High School right alongside the
recruiter's info and college choices.  a flyer and pamphlet debunk military
myths used to snare our sons and daughters. (CONTACT NANCY HILL

Various  members traveled to: Washington, D.C., Boston, MA, New York City,
Bangor, Augusta to participate in anti-war rallies , the ANSWER conference
and the HOPE conference as well as state conferences and regional meetings
as well as participating in civil disobedience
